3 | Development of perivascular macrophages in the endothelial niche

The roles of perivascular macrophages and meningeal macrophages in the CNS are still poorly understood. Thus, we will study the dynamics of brain macrophage development and their interactions with endothelial cells by investigating their temporal expression profiles with single-cell RNA-seq. RNA profiles of brain pvMΦ and mnMΦ will be compared to myeloid progenitors from the yolk sac, microglia and brain endothelial cells.
