13 | Brain endothelial signaling and its regulation by myeloid cells

The project will focus on the dynamics of brain endothelial calcium signaling and its regulation under ischemic conditions with or without microglia. The candidate will use in vitro and in vivo methods to investigate intracellular signaling cascades in brain endothelial cells, including sophisticated methods like 2-photon microscopy and super-resolution imaging in mouse models of stroke and impaired cerebrovascular reactivity.
